I was born and raised in Raymond NH, a small town in the south eastern part of
the state. After I graduated high school, I bounced around from different towns
and finally settled down about fifty miles north in Warner NH. Warner, a
small town full of great people, offers a place where I can write and watch life
happen right before my eyes. I have been married to April for thirteen years and counting. We have two wonderful children, Jorgie who is 8 and Marcus who is 3. These two wonderful children have taught me a great deal about kindness, humor, and patience. Over the past ten years, I have been diligently writing. It is a difficult and tricky art, and takes patience, practice and a little insanity. I have learned most of what I know through determination and the painstaking process of trial and error. What I have written and some samples of my writing can be found here at my Writing Page. In the past I have attended a number of writing groups, but have yet to find one that didn't revolve around idle gossip. So I have started my own. You can find the info here about my Writing Group. What is writing to me? Well, writing to me is more than just grammar or enunciation. Writing is about words and expression of feelings that transcends the page. It's about expressing thoughts and ideas that can ultimately change peoples lives. Isn't that what it should be about? That's my goal and responsibility as a writer. I want to make you feel angry, sad, frustrated, happy. Ultimately, my goal is to make you feel something! I like taking pictures too, but this is more of a hobby than anything. I like this form of art because it too can evoke feeling as well as writing. Just the idea that we can freeze time in an image amazes me. I like the sheer simplicity of a photograph and how it has the ability to convey a message. Throughout my site I have photos posted. Some have been digitally designed and some have not. Take a look around, you never know what may pop up.
